O RACISMO DA CIÊNCIA ATRAVÉS DA MANIPULAÇÃO GENÉTICA – O RETORNO DA EUGENIA DARWINIANA ( RACISM OF SCIENCE THROUGH GENETIC MANIPULATION - THE RETURN OF DARWINIAN EUGENICS)
Resumo
A ciência com o auxílio da tecnologia evolui em uma velocidade que possibilita aos necessitados alimentar a chama da esperança de curar suas chagas, do retorno ao caminhar para os cadeirantes, da cura de doenças neurológicas etc.
No entanto, é preciso separar o anseio da ciência em melhorar e aprimorar a espécie do desejo do cientista de extirpar os defeitos da sociedade, pois, aí teremos exemplos, da própria ciência inclusive, do retorno da eugenia, aplicada por Charles Darwin e tão difundida por Francis Galton.
O retorno do racismo e da eugenia através da manipulação genética e do “aprimoramento” da espécie, mas a que preço? A resposta pode vir através da conta que Adolf Hitler apresentou à humanidade ou através da possibilidade concreta de criminalidade genética ante a fragilidade normativa do direito sobre o tema.
Abstract
Science with the aid of technology evolves at a speed that allows food to the needy the flame of hope of healing his wounds, returning to walking for wheelchair users, the cure of neurological diseases etc.
However, it is necessary to separate the desire of science to improve and enhance the species of the scientist's desire to root out the defects of society, because there have examples, including science itself, the return of eugenics applied by Charles Darwin and so widespread by Francis Galton.
The return of racism and eugenics through genetic manipulation and the "improvement" of the species, but at what price? The answer may come across the fact that Adolf Hitler presented to humanity or through the concrete possibility of genetic crime against the fragility of law rules on the subject.
