O modelo do Manual (jurídico): considerações gerais e doutrina constitucional

RESUMO

O presente trabalho analisa alguns aspectos da cultura do manual, em geral, no âmbito jurídico e, com enfoque mais apurado, no âmbito constitucional. Para tanto, examina as características gerais dos manuais, seus aspectos positivos e negativos para a transmissão do conhecimento. Analisa-se, também, o modo como ele consolida o conhecimento científico de determinada época. Ao fim, aborda o problema relativo à falta de diálogo do manual com os desenvolvimentos acadêmicos/científicos que lhe são posteriores, investigando alguns manuais de direito constitucional.

ABSTRACT

The present work analyses some aspects of the culture of the textbook, in general, in the law, and, with a deeper approach, in constitutional law. Therefore, it is investigated the general characteristics of the textbooks, their positives and negatives aspects for transmitting knowledge. It is analyzed, also, the way it consolidates the scientific knowledge of given time. At end, a approach is made towards the problem about the lack of dialogue between the textbook with subsequent academics/scientifics developments, examinating some constitutional law textbooks.
